File Development System
A robust custom-built file system supporting file creation, deletion, reading, and writing, as well as directory traversal and management. It implements key operating system concepts such as volume control blocks (VCB), free space management via a bitmap, directory structures, and file control blocks (FCBs). Designed for efficiency and correctness, the project simulates real-world file system operations with persistent storage and memory synchronization.
Note: Documentation is available; a live demo is not hosted for this project.

Project Features
Custom File Management
Implements file creation, deletion, open/close, read, write, and metadata tracking within a simulated volume.
Directory Support
Supports hierarchical directory creation, navigation, and removal with '.' and '..' references handled correctly.
Bitmap Free Space Tracking
Manages allocation and deallocation of disk blocks efficiently using a bitmap-based free space map.
Persistence & Reliability
Ensures volume data and directory states persist across program runs with proper memory cleanup and disk synchronization.
